Along party lines, 75 of voters identifying as Republican, 26 percent of Democrats, and 46 percent of unaffiliated voters believe the story is "very important."

69 percent of US voters polled said they've "closely" followed news reports about Hunter Biden, including 37 percent who have "very closely" followed news about President Joe Biden's controversial son, according to the poll's results.

Majorities of every racial category—67 percent of white voters, 69 percent of black voters, and 65 percent of other minorities—believe the story is at least somewhat important. Similar numbers broken down by racial demographics believe it is at least somewhat likely that Biden was consulted about and perhaps profited from Hunter's foreign business deals: 67 percent of whites, 63 percent of black voters, and 61 percent of other minorities agree with the sentiments.

The survey of 1,000 US likely voters was conducted between March 21 and March 22 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- three percentage points with a 95 percent level of confidence. Fieldwork for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. Information on the methodology used can be found on the Rasmussen Reports website.
