Coronary restrictions in Denmark must end.

The background for the report must be the recommendations that come from the Epidemic Commission, and here the recommendation will allegedly be that covid-19 is no longer a socially critical disease.

According to Jyllands-Posten, the new recommendation on whether covid-19 is a socially critical disease will apply from 5 February, but already from 31 January, all restrictions according to the media will be lifted.

Still socially critical?

Last week, the Ministry of Health announced that the government will on Wednesday issue news on whether covid-19 should continue to be considered socially critical. This comes after the Epidemic Commission was asked to make recommendations on it and on whether there should continue to be restrictions.

On Monday, there were also new tones from the National Board of Health, which changed the recommendations for isolation, so you should no longer be isolated as close contact, and in future you should also only be isolated for four days after a positive coronal test for mild or no symptoms.

A cessation as a socially critical illness will mean, among other things, that there will no longer be a requirement for coronapas. It will also mean that the nightlife can reopen as usual. However, the National Board of Health's recommendations on isolation and the like will still apply.

SF: We have not heard anything

Ekstra Bladet has asked the government's one support party, SF, if they are aware of the government's wish and if they also want to lift all restrictions from 31 January.

- No, I have not heard anything about that, says the party's health spokesman, Kirsten Normann Andersen.

She adds that the health rapporteurs have not yet received the Epidemic Commission's recommendation yet.

- I can see that things are moving in that direction. But I am worried about how the workplaces will cope if the infection is allowed to increase much more, says Kirsten Normann Andersen.

- Is it so too early if the restrictions are abolished already after 31 January, do you think?

- I have previously listened to experts asking 'can we not just get 14 more days' (with restrictions, ed.). I do not know what is right.

- Do you support the abolition of restrictions?

- If that is what the Commission recommends, we support it. At the same time it becomes a bit nail-biting to have to witness what is going to happen. I may be worried about that, says the health rapporteur.

- What if the government wants to go further than the Epidemic Commission recommends?

- Then I will still stick to the Commission's recommendation. I have done this before, and I will do it again, says Kirsten Normann Andersen.
