PERSPECTIVE - 'HITLER SAID IT FIRST': MSNBC'S Melissa Harris-Perry Champions Hitlerian Standard on Prime-Time Television, Similar to Recent NSBA Trespasses

First it was Hillary Clinton’s It Takes a Village to raise children by community effort and cost. Now it’s ├╝ber-leftist Melissa Harris-Perry who says it takes a “community” to care for children. By “community” she means the State. She teaches at Tulane University, and before that she corrupted the minds of young people at Princeton and the University of Chicago. She also has a television presence on MSNBC. She’s a menace to society.

Like all good liberals, Harris-Perry believes that she and her cadre of social do-gooders are better equipped to raise other people’s children, the ones that survive abortion, that is. Prior to the collective taking over the care of our children, according to Harris-Perry, you can kill them at will. They are “things” until the State says they are beneficial to the State and should live.

Former Texas Republican senator Phil Gramm tells the story about the time he was on an interview show with an educational elitist who held to a worldview similar to that of Harris-Perry. He told her, “My educational policies are based on the fact that I care more about my children than you do.” She said, “No, you don’t.” Gramm replied, “Okay: What are their names?”

The modern liberal collective mentality is a less extreme version of The Matrix, but it’s just as insidious. They want all children plugged into the collective so their energies can be used to grow the State and to be dependent on the State.

Trending: The Democrat Party is the Enemy of the United States

A statement that Benito Mussolini made comes to mind:

“Everything for the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State.”1

Here’s what Harris-Perry said:

“We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we’ve always had a private notion of children, your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven’t had a very collective notion of these are our children.

“So part of it is we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.

“Once it’s everybody’s responsibility and not just the household’s we start making better investments.”

When liberals say “it’s everybody’s responsibility,” they really mean it’s the States’ responsibility to be paid for by everybody.

Liberals are claiming that conservatives are misrepresenting Harris-Perry. I don’t think so. When a liberal says something about “making better investments,” we have to automatically assume that the government — the State — must involve itself in the life of children so they are taught so-called Progressive ideals with money confiscated from working families and implemented by the State.

Long before Hillary Clinton and Melissa Harris-Perry proclaimed that the children belong to the collective, Adolf Hitler said it first. He was upfront about the ultimate objective:

“When an opponent declares, ‘I will not come over to your side,’ [Hitler] said in a speech on November 6, 1933, “I calmly say, ‘Your child belongs to us already. . . . What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.’” And on May 1, 1937, [Hitler] declared, “This new Reich will give its youth to no one, but will itself take youth and give to youth its own education and its own upbringing.”2

Melissa Harris-Perry couldn’t have said it better.
