In 2015, the Independent published an article which disclosed the clear scientific evidence that Mars once had oceans a mile deep that covered over half of its northern hemisphere. Also, in 2015, NASA wrote an article stating that liquid water still flows on the Martian surface today.
We have seen article after article over the past several years published by these notable scientific sources hinting at the existence of life on the Red Planet. A few of these sources have even suggested that there may have once been a developed and diverse ecosystem on Mars. Yet none of these sources seem willing to explore the possibility that we may find remnants of this diverse ecosystem today.
It was March of 2015 when the Independent published its famed post about the existence of a water ocean that covered nearly half of the northern hemisphere of Mars. That admission was seen as monumental not only for astronomers but for untold numbers of space enthusiasts who are certain that off-world life will be discovered very soon—if it hasn't already been found, that is.

There are many specific reasons why the discovery of off-planet life is a near certainty for modern science. Yet before discussing these reasons, there are a number of points which need to be addressed. Let's review the details from past publications on the matter.
Here is an excerpt from the previously mentioned article by Independent detailing the groundbreaking discovery of ancient water oceans on the Martian surface.

Here is an excerpt from the previously mentioned article by Independent detailing the groundbreaking discovery of ancient water oceans on the Martian surface.
Researchers found that the planet was once covered in more water than Earth is now, by working out the amount of water that has since been lost to space. About 4.3 billion years ago, half of the northern hemisphere of Mars was covered in water, with the ocean more than a mile deep in some places.
“Our study provides a solid estimate of how much water Mars once had, by determining how much water was lost to space,” said Geronimo Villanueva, a scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, and lead author of the new paper. “With this work, we can better understand the history of water on Mars.”
The new data changes the idea of Mars as an inhospitable desert planet that has been unable to support life, as it is now. The lack of water on the planet has long been seen as a reason that Mars is uninhabited, but the planet may have been much more welcoming when it was young.
As recently as ten years ago, scientists thought that while Mars had some water it mostly came forth sporadically, and did not cover much of the planet. But scientists have discovered that much more water than expected has been lost from Mars, changing the idea of what it would have been like.

The article is one of the countless examples the mainstream media has produced which hint very strongly at the existence of advanced life beyond Earth. In fact, the MSM has published so many of these suggestive articles that one may wonder just why all of these hints about ET life are being dropped so regularly by previously obtuse media corporations.
We have discussed numerous times on this site just how ironic (and in many cases, ridiculous) it has been to see the recent about-face the media has made in their discussions of ET life. Ever since Project Blue Book (circa 1950 to 1970), nearly every institution has assumed the exact same stance on the subject of ETs and alien life beyond Earth—that stance being pseudo-skepticism and blind denial. However, now the story has changed tremendously.
Multiple sources confirm that those who control Big Media have an agenda to slowly steer the various narratives of space toward a stance of open-mindedness and positive impressions toward new discovery. According to these sources, this new stance by media has been taken for various reasons. Some of these reasons involve an intent to prepare the global population for further revelations. Other intentions involve using these extraordinary disclosures to distract the public from learning about the crimes committed by various financial powers over the years.

In fact, lately, it seems that nearly every time the past crimes of elitists are being exposed, the various scientific establishments begin rolling out these partial disclosures of possible life beyond Earth. Yet even though these revelations may astound and amaze the public, these disclosures are only a small portion of the truth, according to multiple whistleblowers.

The good news is that despite all these apparent efforts to distract and detract the public with hollow truth trinkets, none of these efforts seem to be succeeding.
Hardly anyone is paying attention to space. It seems the people are too preoccupied with the drama being pushed by the media surrounding all things political. The extremity to which the mainstream media has gone to sell its self-created political war has caused the people to be disinterested in all other matters and to forget about science as a whole.

The narrative of news has been largely anti-science. Instead, most mainstream narratives focus on hyper-emotional extremes and the latest whimsical social standards. Consequently, the very mechanism which this media is attempting to use to distract the public is failing to have much of an effect—at least with regard to matters of space.
The conscious public has no interest in half-truths and worn-out narratives.
Perhaps when these various media companies choose to report the entire story of what the latest scientific discoveries have yielded, the public will pay more attention. Maybe when we choose to stop fixating on that which divides and causes conflict among us, we will choose to focus upon that which connects us. Maybe when we choose to see and appreciate the people standing next to us—despite their different viewpoints—and to appreciate our intrinsic value as human beings, we will then choose to appreciate the entire human race as a whole and possibly as one of many unique civilizations in the cosmos.

Gale Crater is a 96-mile-wide (154 kilometers) depression that was created by a meteor crash 3.5 billion to 3.8 billion years ago. NASA's Curiosity rover has been exploring the crater since 2012, when it landed at the foot of Mount Sharp, a giant mountain at the heart of the crater, according to NASA.

For the past three Martian years (over five Earth years), the rover has been breathing in the air above Gale Crater and analyzing the atmosphere using an instrument called the Sample Analysis at Mars (SAM), which is part of a portable chemistry lab, NASA officials said in a statement.
SAM confirmed that 95% of Mars' atmosphere is made up of carbon dioxide (CO2) and the other 5% is a combination of molecular nitrogen (two nitrogen atoms bound together), molecular oxygen, argon and carbon monoxide. SAM also found that, when CO2 gas freezes at the poles during the Martian winter, the entire planet's air pressure drops. When the CO2 evaporates in the warmer months, the air pressure rises again. Argon and nitrogen predictably rise and fall, depending on how much CO2 is in the air.
But when SAM analyzed the oxygen levels in the crater, the results were mystifying: The oxygen levels rose much higher than expected — as much as 30% of its baseline levels in the spring and summer — and then dropped to levels lower than predicted in the winter.
"We're struggling to explain this," lead author Melissa Trainer, a planetary scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, said in the statement. "The fact that the oxygen behavior isn't perfectly repeatable every season makes us think that it's not an issue that has to do with atmospheric dynamics" or any physical processes that happen in the atmosphere such as the breakup of molecules. All of the possible explanations they came up with fell short.
Rather, "it has to be some chemical source and sink that we can't yet account for," she added.
