US Senate Calls on Julian Assange to Testify before U.S. Intelligence Committee on Russia Investigation

It seems there has been no conspiracy theory more popular among U.S. media than that of "Russian collusion." It is one thing to realize that the mainstream media has perpetuated the theory above anyone else. What is most revealing about this theory is that multiple U.S. intelligence officials have come forward numerous times confirming the fact that they have found no evidence to support the story of "Russian collusion." Yet media outlets such as CNN insist upon pursuing the narrative unceasingly.

The pursuit of the Russia conspiracy theory began to make more sense when it was revealed that the secret service and various rogue agents plotted to attempt to sabotage the 2016 Trump campaign. This revelation spurred an official investigation which, in fact, did yield solid evidence that collusion between the Secret Service and criminal parties did occur, and though several agents lost their jobs as a result, no arrests have been made.
This is one of many examples of the gross double standard and bias which exists with the U.S. government at present. According to news reports, those friendly to Democratic interests who plot criminal activities against an elected President can do no wrong, while a Republican President can do nothing right. Clearly, the public has not received a balanced and honest story on nearly any news report from the now notorious MSM. However, light may soon be shown on the tangled situation that is the U.S. government.

Russia Did It!

The conspiracy theory that Russia rigged the 2016 election in the favor of Donald Trump fell apart long ago. However, this has not stopped the corporate media from continuing the show. In contrast, there have been several investigations and suggested investigations which the public has demanded, and yet when this investigation takes place and criminal actions among FBI and Secret Service are confirmed, no one is arrested.

Many citizens have also demanded the official investigation into the countless allegations against suspected pedophile, John Podesta. If his incriminating emails, his possible connection to multiple murders and disappearances aren't enough, the fact that he has so many close connections with known offenders should have led authorities to turn his life inside out long ago. Yet the numerous questions of the people have gone ignored.

Below is an excerpt from a series of emails that were leaked to the Wikileaks organization and was published in an effort to expose the side of government which certain interests have worked desperately to hide for years. This is one of many emails which connect Podesta and many of his colleagues to nefarious deeds of the worst kind.

Wikileaks - Podesta Emails

On Sun, Feb 22, 2015 at 6:12 PM, John Podesta <john.podesta@gmail.com>wrote:

Agree. Happy to talk to the David's. Call me crazy, but I think if we can survive the next month, it will be possible, maybe even straightforward to get our arms around this once there is an actual campaign. I'm definitely for making an example of a suspected leaker whether or not we have any real basis for it.

https://www.wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/36082

It was subtly revealed by Julian Assange (founder of Wikileaks) that it may have been Seth Rich who leaked the DNC intel. It was only a matter of days after this email was sent by Podesta that Rich was brutally murdered.

Later, the MSM reported that there were signs that Rich was even dragged away, tortured and interrogated before his kidnappers returned him to the street corner where they originally picked him up, and then finished the job.

In short, it does not appear that Russia was the leaker at all. Instead, it appears that the source was Seth Rich. It also seems very possible that Rich was the example to which Podesta was referring when he agreed that an "example" be made of the leaker.

How is Podesta Connected?

We might keep in mind the fact that to this day, John Podesta has never denied the fact that these emails were written by him. Nor has he denied or attempted to sue anyone for claiming that he was connected to his alleged crimes of corruption, murder, and serial pedophilia. According to numerous claims and extensive research by an army of diligent researchers, the murder of Seth Rich appears to be yet another crime for which John Podesta may have to answer, though his actual role in the act is unclear.

The official story surrounding the murder of Seth Rich was that he was killed in a robbery. However, in any typical robbery, possessions are taken, per the definition of the word. The fact that authorities claimed that Rich's murder was a botched robbery attempt runs parallel with many of the other flawed MSM explanations surrounding alleged false flags.

Under the circumstances of normal alleged false flags, events transpire with a number of strange anomalies. These anomalies tend to occur whenever the FBI (or another questionable agency) is involved and consistently call the official personnel themselves into suspicion. It is as though during and following supposed terrorist or mass shooter events, the FBI is largely responsible for the violence. Afterward, the MSM is tasked with filling in all of the gaping holes which clumsy agents leave behind after staging the violence.

It may not have been actual FBI agents that were directly involved in the murder of Seth Rich. However, it seems very possible that the corrupt interests connected to Democratic officials were responsible. If John Podesta's emails are authentic, and they very much appear to be—this means that the FBI investigation has been wasting its time attempting to finger Russia for everything that goes wrong in the U.S. Instead, it may be beneficial—if in fact they are interested in solving their supposed investigation—that they will check their own backyard.

It seems that Julian Assange's testimony before the congressional hearing will be very interesting. If the above truths are brought to light during the oncoming Intelligence hearing, the Russian investigation may pay off after all.

Julian Assange has been asked to testify before the US Senate Intelligence Committee as part of their Russia investigation, according to a letter signed by Senators Richard Burr (R-NC) and Mark Warner (D-VA) posted by the official WikiLeaks Twitter account.

The letter, delivered to Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, reads in part "As part of the inquiry, the Committee requiests that you make yourself available for a closed interview with bipartisan Committee staff at a mutually agreeable time and location."

Wikileaks' says their legal team is "considering the offer but testimony must conform to a high ethical standard," after which the whistleblower organization added a tweet linking to a list of 10 Democratic Senators who demanded in late June that Assange's asylum be revoked in violation of international law:

WikiLeaks also tweeted a link to a Human Rights Watch article: "UK Should Reject Extraditing Julian Assange to US," which reads in part:

It has been six years since Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks, fled to the Ecuadorean Embassy in London to seek asylum from possible extradition to the United States to face indictment under the US Espionage Act.

At the time, Assange, an Australian national, was wanted by Sweden for questioning over sexual offense allegations. Assange had also broken the terms of his UK bail. Since then, he has become even more controversial, having published US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails and internal emails from Democratic Party officials.

While some admire and others despise Assange, no one should be prosecuted under the antiquated Espionage Act for publishing leaked government documents. That 1917 statute was designed to punish people who leaked secrets to a foreign government, not to the media, and allows no defense or mitigation of punishment on the basis that public interest served by some leaks may outweigh any harm to national security.

The US grand jury investigation of Assange under the Espionage Act was apparently based on his publishing the leaks for which Chelsea Manning, a former US army soldier, was convicted. Her sentence was commuted. -HRW.org

Assange has been holed up in the embassy since 2012 for jumping UK bail on a Swedish arrest warrant for an alleged rape. In May, Swedish prosecutors decided to discontinue their investigation into the claims, which Assange denies and has never been formally chaged with.

“Chief Prosecutor Marianne Ny has today decided to discontinue the preliminary investigation regarding suspected rape concerning Julian Assange,” the prosecutor's office said in a statement, as quoted by Reuters.

Last August, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher travelled to London with journalist Charles Johnson for a meeting with Assange, after which Rohrabacher said the WikiLeaks founder offered "firsthand" information proving that the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia, and which would refute the Russian hacking theory.

After Trump denied knowledge of the potential deal, Rohrabacher raged at Trump's Chief of Staff, John Kelly, for constructing a "wall" around President Trump by "people who do not want to expose this fraud."

And in January of 2017, Julian Assange's legal team approached Clinton-linked D.C. lobbyist Adam Waldman to reach out and see if anyone in the Trump administration would negotiate with the WikiLeaks founder - only to have James Comey kill the deal.

Waldman, who acted as an intermediary from 2009 - 2011 between Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska and the FBI, worked for Assange pro bono. Assange's bargaining chip was a massive trove of CIA technical documents known as "Vault 7," which detailed the agency's massive cyber-warfare arsenal.

After Assange's team made contact, Waldman reached out to Bruce Ohr - a DOJ official who would later be demoted in December, 2017 for failing to disclose secret meetings with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson. Bruce's wife, Nellie Ohr was hired by Fusion GPS as part of an ongoing anti-Trump effort. Fusion also produced the 35-page "Steele Dossier," written by former MI6 spy Christopher Steele.

Waldman and Ohr would meet in person on Feb. 3, 2017 in Washington, while Waldman and Assange met three times in London.

After Assange made clear that he would be open to redactions at most to protect the names of exposed officials, Ohr took Assange's offer up the chain of command at the DOJ - which by and large held Assange in contempt.

Although the intelligence community reviled Assange for the damage his past releases caused, officials “understood any visibility into his thinking, any opportunity to negotiate any redactions, was in the national security interest and worth taking,” says a senior official involved at the time. -The Hill
