At this point, it seems clear that there are various interests within past and current U.S. government offices which are different than they appear or are claimed to be. Considering the numerous disclosures of gross criminal activity which have taken place behind the facade of official American prestige, it seems obvious that significant change is upon us.
As these disclosures unfold in corporate and alternative media, we also learn of the numerous plots by past regimes to overthrow the current administration in order to stop the revelations from coming forward. This is not to say that the administration of President Trump is without issue, but to make clear that compared to past American governmental figures, the current administration appears to be cleaning house in ways that are difficult to ignore.

Both supporters and opposers of the Clintons alike have found it nearly impossible to ignore the alarming trend of double standards shown by former FBI officials and media heads with regard to Trump and former administrations. In past years, governmental figures were rarely even questioned with regard to their personal conduct. If these officials were ever caught in compromising circumstances, not only did they handle the ensuing cover-ups like professional mobsters, but the corporate media did everything they could to distract Americans from the situation altogether.
Many of us may remember that just a few years back, Hillary Clinton was caught covering up a pedophilia ring in the State Department. Yet no one ever faced trial. According to numerous reports, witnesses, and court cases, this incident may have been a mere drop compared to the ocean of rampant crime taking place behind the front of government office. Despite the many issues which the current administration seems to have, covering for pedophiles, serial molesters, and child rapists do not appear to be among them.

It seems clear that at present, both the U.S. government and the corporate media are waging an informational cold war with one side attempting to undermine the other while the old guard attempts to maintain control over the minds of the people through the corporate media. All the while, a continual stream of revelations of government officials caught in scandals of pedophilia and sexual misconduct are coming forward. Though it may be a challenge to glean the truth from such a confused situation, it is still very possible, I think.

Justice Department Reopens Hillary Clinton Email Investigation
The Department of Justice has caved to pressure from the White House and is reportedly reopening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.
According to the Daily Beast, there is a new effort in the department to get new details on how Clinton and her aides — including former top aide Huma Abedin — handled classified material. The effort will look at how much classified information was on her private email server, and how that information got there.
President Trump has continually questioned if and when the Justice Department would reopen its investigation into Clinton. He tweeted on Dec. 2: “Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”
Last week, conservative group Judicial Watch won a lawsuit against the State Department and released emails showing that classified information was on the computer of Abedin’s then-husband Anthony Weiner.

The FBI previously investigated and declined to criminally prosecute Clinton for her use of the email server. But Trump and his supporters used the email debacle as a rallying cry throughout the campaign.
The findings from a separate Justice Department’s inspector general probe into how the FBI handled the email use is expected to be released sometime this spring.

Naturally, there will still be a handful of people who faithfully subscribe to the corporate media. Much of this media will still be focused on the old scripts of 2017, and how the nation and the world has only despair and destitution in store under the current President. Granted, many people have faced various misfortunes—not always due to the direct actions of the President, but the negative effects are still noteworthy.
The truth seems to be that much of the mess we are dealing with now has been left over from past administrations. Consequently, the cleaning process necessary for dealing with these messes can be just as extreme is the corruption which first created them. However, this reality has not been discussed by the corporate media.
In such a case, it does not seem like a wise idea to become opportunistically outraged at the state of the union only after being egged on by corporate media for months. In my humble opinion, the time to be outraged was years ago. The problems we see now (and which the media is ruminating upon now) are literally decades old, and just like any problem, they must be brought out into the open in order to be addressed.

Naturally, this will mean that anyone left to clean up the mess will be covered in it, making them an open target for an apparently bias and compromised corporate media. Enter Donald Trump.
If we are alarmed at realizing the problem of corruption, we might also be equally alarmed that we did not take the time to notice this multi-decade-old problem until now. The evidence has been around us for much of our lives and the time to solve these issues is long overdue.
Though flawed, the current administration may be, they seem to be cleaning things up and bringing more revelations forward than any past administration has before.

Fire Breaks Out At Hillary Clinton's Home In Chappaqua
This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
UPDATE: 3:58 p.m. EST - A fire that broke out in Hillary Clinton's Chappaqua home reportedly starting in the bedroom of the house, according to The Journal News. The fire was extinguished shortly after it began Wednesday.

A fire broke out Wednesday at the home of Hillary Clinton in Chappaqua, New York, according to The Journal News. Firefighters were responding to the scene, according to the report. At least three fire trucks and one ambulance were deployed.
The extent of the fire remained unclear and the cause had not been released. Police had not yet released additional details but the fire was at 15 Old House Lane, The Journal News reported.
The Clinton's Chappaqua home is reportedly worth $1.7 million, according to Guest of a Guest. The former presidential candidate lives there with her husband. The pair purchased the home in 1999 and have lived there since.

An honorable media might speak critically of a president from time to time, and granted this criticism is respectful and fair, it is completely fine. A balanced media may speak about concerns various citizens have about the President's decisions on various topics, and this is also understandable. It is very necessary to question our leaders and to hold them accountable. However, when a supposedly objective media deliberately avoids this questioning for years, and then after the latest President is elected, that media (along with Hollywood entertainment) habitually disrespects and demeans the President at every turn, and when this media ignores any potentially positive benefit of any decision the President makes for one year straight following his election, this is a very big problem.
We have never seen the level of disrespect which the mainstream has shown for the current President. In fact, the representation of President Trump which the media has communicated falls in line with the media's past portrayals of foreign leaders who would not give in to Cabal bribery and which the corporate establishment planned to overthrow following the smearing. This overwhelming anti-President bias was very concerning, and combined with the clear evidence of media compromise by the very individuals under investigation, this did not spell a fair and balanced story for American viewers.

The mainstream media's portrayal of President Trump during the entire year of 2017 could easily be defined as a smear campaign. Again, this is not to say that there are not issues of the President that do not need to be addressed. It appears there are. However, when the media goes to the lengths of fabricating various fatalistic narratives for the sake of ratings, this is not only bias, it is propagandistic, and again, reveals an extreme problem within corporate media.
The underlying problem with extended smear campaigns is that they can decrease the ethical standards of the audience members who view them. If an audience such as the people of America—who have not had ethics training in school, in a professional setting, or in general—are presented with grossly unethical standards as they were in 2017 by corporate media, they will eventually begin to imitate the low standard of ethics they are shown.
This is what seemed to happen among mainstream-dependent citizens as well as many in the alternative community. However, 2017 also showed us all that disclosure of past government secrecy is very possible for those who truly desire it and who do not allow dissension and distraction to deter them from getting to the entire truth. In this case it seems we have a choice between these two paths. Whichever of these lessons will stick is dependent upon us.

If this fire was set in order to destroy evidence, it would not be the first time such evidence against Clinton was conveniently destroyed prior to deeper investigations.
The website Politico, published an article in March of 2015 about how Clinton had her servers wiped prior to the investigation into the terror attacks in Bengazi. The investigation took place in late 2012 and Clinton was cleared, but the fact that her servers were completely erased before investigators could complete their probe into the issue made Americans more than a little suspicious about Clinton's actual role in the attacks. Combined with the issues of John Podesta's emails as well as convicted pedophile, Anthony Wiener (both of which corporate media seemed to ignore as well), the track record of the Clinton entourage is not exactly spotless.
We may also find it interesting that the apparent attempt at damage control by certain sources to claim that the suggestion of a cover-up by Clinton was ridiculous, considering that it happened three times on record in the past. These incidents were more than minor issues. These were directly tied to incidents where children were being raped and abused and in which people were dying under extremely suspicious circumstances within Clinton's circle. This made many Americans extremely suspicious about this latest development at the Clintons' property.
