In modern society, it seems that the corporate media is worshiped by the masses as the sole source for reliable information in existence. Though this establishment is all but completely extinct, as revealed by statistics, thousands of people still consider the corporate dinosaur of the mainstream to be reliable and truthful.
There is a fear that grips many people when it comes to examining the truth within the corporate partnerships that control mainstream media. When faced with the overwhelming evidence that these overgrown news sources have been all but completely compromised by corporate greed, many people simply turn their backs on this evidence and pretend that the old, spotless, and upright image of mainstream media still applies to reality.
To add to the common fear of change, corporate media uses every trick imaginable to distort reality in favor of elitist greed and pedophilic sickness. We have seen this detestable media both protect elitist pedophiles and promote outright lies in favor of their owners and against everyone who intends to expose these crimes. Yet despite their overt criminal compromise, some people still consider these companies reliable.
It has been increasingly difficult over time, to resist the temptation to question this bias and dishonest media in greater ways. Even their shameless disrespect of American government goes without question and without resistance in the eyes of some. Upon seeing the questionable actions of a president, it seems some people have chosen to ignore the extreme compromises within media itself. Instead of questioning all institutions equally, many have chosen to accept nearly everything the corporate media says as long as these questionable reports agree with their own views. In a sane world, such an imbalanced stance cannot at all be considered responsible.
No matter the message of any media source, the standards of the journalistic process never change. In honest and objective journalism, there is a specific standard of procedure which is required to obtain the truth of any situation. However, the corporate media seems to have abandoned this journalistic process altogether and has replaced it with propagandistic antagonization of the American people, and since many Americans are still unwilling (or unable) to question authority outside the will of another authority, this problem goes unnoticed.
No matter what one's political affiliation is, the standards of honest research never change. Regardless of whether we like our chosen image of Donald Trump or not, the reliability and fallibility of the news reports about his actions require self-responsibility and independent observation. Upon realizing the overt unreliability of the corporate media, we begin to realize that no message from such a source can be completely or responsibly relied upon. We realize that the level of corruption within the media is so severe that the only solution seems to either be a clean sweep of all corporate influences in media or an abandonment of mainstream media altogether.
Though the corporate media will almost certainly attempt to spin reality in favor of their corporate masters, and against the favor of the rest of us, the need for journalistic responsibility and self-responsibility still stand. As long as the lullaby of corporate media continues to pacify the people, no dependent individual will be able to realize their own ability to think and to form their own opinions.
The political well of Donald Trump and the current administration was poisoned from the beginning. Since then, we have been handed the typical song, dance, and distortion by the mainstream for what seems to be a specific purpose. If history has taught us anything, we will know that purpose is—and always has been—to promote the interests of the establishment and to convince the people that the will of the establishment is better than true freedom. In our times, this false message has taken the form of a media which promoted hate and scorn toward individuals even before we ever knew who they were.
This media distortion has left many Americans confidently ignorant of the world situation around them, and has caused many of us to forget our own recent history before these distortions were deployed so casually. We have become addicted to the illusion of our own unquestionable correctness without realizing that we stopped thinking for ourselves long ago.
This can be a difficult situation to solve, but it is very much possible. There is always a way to break such habits. Just don't expect to enjoy the process.

CNN reports:
We're revolutionizing the news industry, but we need your help! Click here to get started.
“The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and Politico were also excluded from the meeting, which is known as a gaggle and is less formal than the traditional Q-and-A session in the White House briefing room.
“The Associated Press and Time magazine boycotted the briefing because of how it was handled. The White House Correspondents Association is protesting.

“The conservative media organizations Breitbart News, The Washington Times and One America News Network were allowed in.”
The cable news outlet reported that its correspondents who were barred entry were offered “no immediate explanation” from White House staff about why they had been denied.
The move, described as “unprecedented” by reporters and journalism experts, comes a day after CNNreported that White House chief of staff Reince Priebus had attempted to get the FBI to push back against reporting by several outlets, including the Times and CNN, that there had been consistent communications between members of the Trump campaign and transition teams and Russian government officials.
In a statement, the White House Correspondents’ Association decried the move.

“The WHCA board is protesting strongly against how today’s gaggle is being handled by the White House,” said Jeff Mason, the group’s president. “We encourage the organizations that were allowed in to share the material with others in the press corps who were not. The board will be discussing this further with White House staff.”
During his earlier speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland, Trump repeatedly attacked the news media and called reporters supplying negative or critical coverage of his administration an”the enemy of the people.”

Update:
The White House’s decision to selectively bar certain news outlets from a Friday afternoon off-camera briefing with press secretary Sean Spicer has been decried as “undemocratic and unacceptable;” “chilling;” and “totalitarian.”

Not to mention “stupid.”
CNN called it “an unacceptable development by the Trump White House. Apparently this is how they retaliate when you report facts they don’t like. We’ll keep reporting regardless.”
And New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet declared in a statement: “Nothing like this has ever happened at the White House in our long history of covering multiple administrations of different parties. We strongly protest the exclusion of the New York Times and the other news organizations. Free media access to a transparent government is obviously of crucial national interest.”

In addition to CNN, the Times, the Los Angeles Times, and Politico, outlets that were blocked from the so-called “gaggle” reportedly included The Hill, the BBC, the Guardian, and BuzzFeed. Right-wing outlets Breitbart and One American News were allowed in, among others.
The American Civil Liberties Union called the exclusion “yet another disturbing example of the Trump [administration]’s contempt for the vital role a free press plays in our democracy.”
Indeed, the incident played out just hours after Trump called the media an “enemy of the people” at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland.
